    I'm not a pro. I'm not a coder. I'm just a guy that occasionally needs a diff tool. And when I do, I need it to work, and not get in the way, or be too fiddly. That's what DiffChecker does. It works every single time, flawlessly. I've used several diffs over the years and not all of them work well.. I really appreciate the work and effort you put into this!

    Hi — sorry for the frustration. You're right that there was no way to turn off those context lines, and the "Show Diff Only" button was also broken when text was pasted directly into the editor. Both are fixed in v1.1.10, currently in review on the Chrome Web Store and will be available shortly: - The "Show Diff Only" button now works after pasting/typing into the editor. - New dropdown next to it lets you choose how many context lines to show around each change: 0, 1, 2, 3, or 5. Pick 0 for a pure diff with no surrounding code — exactly what you wanted. Once the update lands, I'd appreciate if you give it another try. Either way, thanks for the honest feedback — it directly drove this fix.

    Thanks a lot for the feedback — and you were right. In that version, there wasn’t a proper Word Wrap option available in the UI. We’ve fixed that in version 1.1.9: the Wrap option is now available and works correctly for long paragraph-based text comparisons. The update is rolling out now and should be available to everyone very soon. If the new text wrap option works well for your use case, we’d really appreciate it if you updated your review.
