    Hi, and thank you so much for the kind words and the suggestion! 🙏 I totally get it — clicking every time is annoying. Unfortunately, this is one thing I can't fully remove: Google Chrome itself requires a manual action (a click or a keyboard shortcut) before any extension is allowed to start processing a tab's audio. It's a security rule built into Chrome — there's no setting or permission that lets an extension turn itself on automatically when the browser opens. It applies to every audio extension, not just this one. The good news is there are two ways to make it almost effortless: Turn on "Always active" in Settings. With this enabled, you only act once after opening the browser, and from then on the extension automatically follows whatever tab is playing sound — so as you move around YouTube and other tabs, you don't have to keep clicking. Use the keyboard shortcut instead of the icon. Just press Alt + Shift + S on the YouTube tab and the audio starts processing instantly — no need to aim for the icon. (You can even change this shortcut at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.) So the smoothest routine is: open the browser → press Alt + Shift + S once (with "Always active" on) → and enjoy your 5.1 upmix for the rest of the session without touching it again. I'm also exploring ways to make trusted sites like YouTube kick in even more automatically in a future update. Thanks again for using the extension and for the great feedback! 🎧

    Hi Cypher thegreat, you can find the option to reset to default values ​​in the equalizer and channel routing settings. I can't think of any other places this action might be useful. Could you give me an example? The blinking icon visually indicates that audio is playing and the extension isn't active. It's a way to remind you to use the extension. Unfortunately, it's not possible to activate the extension in all tabs without manually running it in each one. This is a Chrome security limitation. I explain this in more detail on the extension's main page, but Google wants to ensure that no extension is automatically activated without user approval. The extension runs per tab. Keep in mind that running the plugin consumes system resources. Of course, if the user interface is active displaying the VU meters, it consumes significantly more than when running in the background. I'll test whether it's possible to run it simultaneously in multiple tabs. I have a project on hold to create a desktop version, but I'm short on time. I'll get back to it when I have more free time.

    amazing man, great equalizer. it does alot of improvements for clarity and the bass for my jbl sub. it also works fine for music making aplications like bandlab and musescore.as a musician, its fabulous, fantastic.

    this is a good app, i use it upmixing stereo to 5.1 ch. but i hope it can be added more speaker systems like 4.1 channel. because center speaker is not installed for many pc surround sound users. and simulating center speaker from a stereo source is harmful to its sound quality.
