This easter egg is fantastic!!! I installed the extension to solve one problem and ended up solving 2!

Exactly what I wanted! Just a couple of minor issues/bugs, however... -I need to toggle the extension everytime I restart Chrome/Windows to get it working again. -Keyboard shortcuts don't seem to work on Windows as it doesn't have the cmd key. Ctrl doesn't work either. EDIT - Reply: The toggle I mentioned refers to enabling/disabling the extension itself. What I found was, whenever Chrome/Windows is closed/shutdown, the extension has to be disabled then re-enabled in order to work upon star...

Hi - my guess is that you are using a dark background. The icon has transparent background and black outline - if displayed against a dark background, it might not be visible. Try changing Chrome theme perhaps? You also don't really need to interact with the icon - it can be stowed away without losing its functionality. Cheers!

You could use the mute all tabs shortcut Cmd+Shift+0 manually. By default if the extension were to mute inactive tabs, then people would not be able to listen to whatever tab is playing music. I play music non-stop on one tab or another, and that tab typically doesn't need to be the active tab. Cheers!
