    Thank you so much for the high rating and thoughtful feedback! About GIFs: Grabit can download regular GIF files as GIFs. However, if you mean “GIFs” on X/Twitter, those are often delivered as MP4 video files rather than actual GIF files, so Grabit currently can’t save them as GIFs. Grabit is primarily designed as an image downloader, but we understand that this behavior can be confusing when something looks like a GIF on the page. We’ll continue looking into ways to make this clearer and improve support where appropriate. Thanks again for using Grabit and for sharing such detailed feedback!

    Thank you very much for your thoughtful and honest feedback. We truly appreciate your kind words about the extension. We understand that $3/month may feel expensive if it is seen as just an image downloader. However, the main challenge is not simply downloading images. The extension requires ongoing development to display buttons properly across many different websites, detect the correct full-size images behind thumbnails or links, and stay compatible when websites change their layouts. In fact, we have released over 20 updates in the past six months, continuously improving compatibility, fixing issues, and refining the experience based on user feedback. Originally, we provided the extension within the scope of what we could maintain for free. However, after receiving many requests for improvements and additional features, we introduced a paid plan so we could continue developing and supporting it properly. The paid plan is mainly intended for heavy users who need features like batch downloading, auto-scroll collection, and higher limits. While we understand that the price may not feel right for every user, there are already many users who find value in the paid plan and choose to support the extension. That support allows us to continue improving and maintaining it. For lighter users, regular downloads are unlimited even on the free plan, and the weekly limit only applies to batch downloads. That said, we understand your concerns about pricing and will continue considering whether a better pricing structure is possible in the future.
