    Thanks for your feedback! I’ve confirmed that the issue is reproducible, and sorry for the inconvenience. I’ve been working on a fix for the automatic new tab behavior, but since it’s intertwined with the normal manual new tab logic, it needs a bit more testing to make sure it’s stable. Otherwise, the fix for this edge case may affect regular new tab behavior. If you’d like to try the fix earlier, you can check it out here: github.com/huangyxi/tab-positioner/pull/52 .     So far so good. No issues. The other Manifest V3 add ons to open new tab to the right of the current tab always had issues. I use it even with 300 tabs open and it works always, including opening links to the right of the current tab, the way i set it up.

    Thank you for using our extension and for your feedback. The ability to activate tabs in their previously used order after closing a tab is planned, but since this feature requires major changes to the current codebase, it will not be available soon. I cannot promise a release date or version for this feature, but I sincerely thank you again for your support and patience.

    Thanks for the feedback! An experimental option to open pop-ups in tabs will be available in the next version. Stay tuned.
