If you make a GitHub issue at https://github.com/nkrishnaswami/open-selected-links/issues with some more info to track the diagnosis and fix (or if you don't use GitHub, send me an email at natarajan@krishnaswami.org), I can try to figure out what isn't working and fix it in the next version.

    Hi Sarah, I've just submitted a fix in version 1.8.4 for web store review. In the meantime, opening the tabs in a tab group or using the extension popup should still work.

Figured it out. This should be fixed in 1.8.4, which I just submitted for web store review.
