Mar 6, 2026Tabs get restored to the window they were in when they were closed. Sometimes that is the current window, sometimes a background one, and if the original window has been closed then a new window is created. The process is actually handled by the browser rather than being a design choice in the extension. An option to "Restore to current window" is probably feasible though, and is definitely a good idea. Thank you for the suggestion.

Jan 27, 2025This extension uses the browser's internal list of closed tabs and windows, which is limited to the most recent 25; nothing is recorded or discarded by this extension. It displays the same information you can get in the "Recent tabs" section of the browser's History menu, but whereas that only has 8 entries, this extension displays the full list together with website domain information and an indication of when the tab was closed. Thank you for your review, the description panel has been updated (pending review) to explain the extension's purpose more clearly.

Jun 18, 2024This is so useful I would have paid for it. Chrome's own recently closed list is too small and it somehow forgot about 2 important saved tab groups. This extension allowed me to easily find the contents of and recreate the tab groups.
