    DOES NOT SUPPORT OUTSIDE AMAZON USA thus pointless for ROW. With fakespot gone we NEED a viable alternative. Will happily change to 5 star when it is actually useful to everyone rather than region locked.

    Hi Emily, Lior here, the creator of Wisely. Thanks for sharing your concerns! I'll start by saying we care deeply about users' privacy and don't keep any user data, with the exception of things that are essential for us to develop and improve Wisely extension. Nothing else. We actually didn't even write this page you mentioned, it's made of standard text generated by Google: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/pbpiedkaogpckpcbgnianaejhmdahbjn/privacy Google asks extension developers like us to select from a few checkboxes which functionality is offered, or will be offered, by their extension. We ticked the following 5 checkboxes: 1. Personally identifiable information - since we're going to offer users to sign in, an email address is considered personally identifiable information. 2. Financial and payment information - since we're going to offer a premium paid version for users. 3. Authentication information - since users will have to sign in with a password. 4. User activity - since we do use standard analytics to learn how users use our product, and only our product. 5. Website content - we have to gather product reviews and data from Amazon pages for the extension to be able to summarize them.
