Jan 23, 2026It does autosaves every few minutes and sends a notification each damn time ! I drives me crazy ! Who needs an autosave of tabs every 5 minutes ? You cant access the settings without geting an "API key" but you can't get the key because the system is broken. So no settings. Terrible product.

Jan 17, 2026Terrible product. First, requires an account to access the settings. Secondly, it auto-saves tabs every few minutes while showing a notification, without tabs changing at all. And there is no way to turn off the auto-saving feature. I tried setting the threshold to very high and the time limits to very high (in order to avoid autosaving), but the settings don't seem to be working at all. I only needed the extension to save my tabs when I want to, but with all of this autosaving, it becomes ...

Jan 8, 2026The extension was working great, but all of a sudden, all saved and autosaved sessions were removed. The same thing happened again after a while. Fix it.

Jul 29, 2025Hi Davey, I understand your privacy concerns - they're completely valid! Let me clarify why Sessionat needs the 'tabs' permission (which Chrome labels as 'browsing history'): Why we need this permission: To save your current open tabs when you create a session To restore tabs when you open a saved session To display tab titles and favicons in your saved sessions What we DON'T do: We don't track or send your browsing data anywhere All your sessions are stored locally on YOUR device (using IndexedDB) We don't have servers that collect your data We can't see your browsing history from before you installed the extension The 'tabs' permission only lets us see your currently open tabs when you actively save a session - we cannot access your historical browsing data. Think of it like taking a screenshot of your current tabs, not reading your diary. I'm a solo developer committed to user privacy. If you have suggestions on how I could make this clearer in the extension description, I'd genuinely appreciate your input. Best regards, Ibrahim
